About the Council

The Council is a special decision-making body within tthe Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth. About the Council - Regelrådet, whose members are appointed by the government, and is responsible for its own decisions. The Council consists of a chairman and four members who all have good knowledge of better regulation. The task of the Better Regulation Council is to scrutinise the quality of, and issue opinions on, regulatory impact assessments of proposals that may have significant effects on businesses.
